Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of VerseUp (the "Service"), a SaaS tool for independent tutors. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  1. You may use the Service only if you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
  2. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not create an account or use the Service.

2. Account Registration

  1. Registration is performed through Google Authentication. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure.
  2. You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
  3. You are responsible for all actions performed through your account.

3. Use of the Service

  1. The Service helps tutors manage services, clients, schedules, appointment balances, payment reminders, public profiles, and related administrative workflows.
  2. You agree to use the Service only for lawful professional purposes and in accordance with applicable laws.
  3. You must not interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the Service, or use it to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.

4. Tutor Responsibilities

  1. Tutors are solely responsible for the accuracy of service descriptions, prices, schedules, cancellation rules, and payment instructions added to the Service.
  2. Tutors are responsible for obtaining all legally required consents from clients or clients whose data they enter into the Service.
  3. Tutors are responsible for their relationships with clients or clients, including teaching services, payment arrangements, refunds, cancellations, and tax obligations.

5. Payments

  1. The Service may help display payment instructions, payment links, package information, and payment confirmations.
  2. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, VerseUp is not a party to transactions between tutors and their clients or clients and is not responsible for disputes, chargebacks, refunds, or the fulfillment of tutoring services.
  3. You are responsible for ensuring that payment details you provide are accurate and lawful.

6. Intellectual Property

  1. VerseUp and all related software, design, branding, and content are owned by VerseUp or its licensors.
  2. You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service, but grant us the right to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide the Service.

7. Service Availability and Changes

  1. We aim to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  2. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service when necessary for security, maintenance, product improvement, or legal reasons.

8. Termination

  1. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us.
  2. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create legal risk, or harm the security or integrity of the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  2. VerseUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, unless another mandatory law applies to you as a consumer.
